Fans were left speechless after 100 Bird Street, the neighborhood where Chuck and his family live, was completely destroyed in a nuclear attack.
Season 6 started in November 2024, driving out the comedy storylines that has been the main topic of the show, in favour of something more dramatic and serial, as seen from shows like Sins and Loves.
Jamie Hudson, the season’s main antagonist, had the main goal of destroying Chuck’s family. As it progressed, many characters were killed throughout Jamie Hudson’s killing spree, such as Vana Glama, Hilda Miller, Maggie Pesky, and so on.
What came next was (literally) a bombshell; Money Union joining forces with the Justice Party to sign a nuclear pact, causing a series of attacks across Nyíregyháza.
Before the season finale episode started, a disclaimer was shown to prove that none of the events happening in Nyíregyháza are real, and should be treated as fictional.
As the nuclear sirens blare out, panic erupted as Terence, Matilda, and all the others leave the city. It only got worse from there; Dr. Fox crashes her car into the river with her, Carl, and Lotta in it. Meanwhile, Kiki tries to stop Rock from driving, but crashes into a tree and later dying. Mordecai and Margaret also failed to escape, as they were hit by a missile that exploded the car, killing them in the process. Even though Ollie successfully managed to kill Jamie Hudson, this did not stop Louis Nixon from activating the Nuclear button himself, causing the whole neighborhood to blow up.
However, The Bird Family was not the only one with an explosive ending. Similarly to the bombing of 100 Bird Street, Sins and Loves took a much more darker turn in the last episodes of 2024. Victor Marshall, the supreme leader of Wolfbridge, decides it is time to put an end to all the hate his mafia received.
A mysterious cult leader, Crimson Wallace, predicted the end of the world multiple times beyond the grave, but none of it came true. Except for this one, it became too impossible to deny it was fake.
Victor brings a nuclear bomb to the Preston household. When it was detonated, the whole world was destroyed and turned into a ball of fire as the episode ended. Many fans are wondering: what next?
As The Bird Family takes a hiatus until the new season begins in early 2025, many fans have been asking: Who survived after the events? Will The Bird Family find happiness in Nyírtosh? Or most of our heroes still under threat of the Justice Party? All answers will be revealed when Season 7 premieres in Q2 2025. Meanwhile, Sins and Loves will return with new episodes in 2025 next year.
