His funeral was held during an episode of MineCast in a no comment segment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recently, the show was accused of his death. A YouTube user claimed in the comments that the producers killed Joshua by ptuting up a fake chest disguised as a bomb. In an interview with After the Elimination Zone, Betty Bagley, who is one of the producers, denied those accusations, claiming she had no involvement with his death, but claims that she witnessed it. She also claims that his death was an accident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">G4p TV later wrote this statement exclusively to the blog:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As you all know, there have been some accusations that have been flying around involving one of our Minecraft Elimination Zone contestants, Joshua Balderas. One of our viewers, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UC5PuXXqdkO3ggCrlvD5koKg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">@PhantomDude380\u00a0<\/a>, claimed that the production team was responsible for his death. This is not true. We are not responsible for his death, and we apologize to Joshua&#8217;s family for it. What happened with Joshua was not a crime. It was an accident, and no production crew member were charged with any offenses.
