At least 5 people were killed and 8 others were seriously injured in a series of explosions and shootings around the Galaxy Radio headquarters Tuesday morning. It was caused by The X when its leader, Rex Cecere, ordered the attack last week.
At around 9am this morning, CCTV footage showed Molly McGee being grabbed by a masked man and taken at the back of a vehicle, and drove off. It was presumed that she was likely kidnapped and held hostage somewhere.
At half 9, Chuck and his team were doing rehearsals for the new season of ChuckCast when one of the producers informed them that Molly is kidnapped. They then tried to call the police, but a huge explosion ripped through half the building, killing 3 people (one of them being a member of the HR resources department for the brand). Rex’s men quickly stormed into the building. armed with explosives like grenades, stun grenades, and others.
At 9:55am CET, the men held Chuck and his team hostage in the caféteria, along with other members of the production team. It was unknown what their demands were. However, Courage attempted to wrestle out the weapon, but was shot in the abdomen.
At 10am, officers and S.W.A.T team were deployed outside the studio to try to control the situation. The armed men then demanded to hand Kiff, Anne, and Vana Glama over to The X, or they’ll face execution. Kiff insists that she was not involved with the murder of one of the mafia’s members, now identified as Jack Hinds, but she threatens to have the FBI involved on the case.
In a fit of rage, the men then attempted to kill her, but police and commandos bursted into the room and unleashed an explosive firefight. 2 More people were killed, both of them were the hostage takers themselves. Some others were later arrested. The building is now partially destroyed, but a reconstruction is in place just after the attacks.
Meanwhile, Molly is kidnapped in a desert somewhere in Minecraftia. The kidnapper is later revealed to be Rex Cecere himself, who threatens that if she doesn’t give up on her FBI schemes, along with Kiff, Zoé, and the others, they’ll die. However, Molly was rescued by undercover FBI agents, and Rex was later arrested for his crimes.
Courage is now laying in a hospital bed in a Seattle hospital, in a coma. More details about the attack will be discussed on tomorrow’s Boomerang Days.
