Yesterday was the event that what some consider “Cliffhanger Saturday”. Emergency Lane: A New Generation ended Season 7 with the end of the Ronald Schmitt Story Arc, which originally came from the original series.
The two-part season finale saw Ronald being burned to death by Reuben, who killed him in revenge for trying to capture long-time Emergency Lane favorite Paul the Cow, and for the death of Chuck Clawbeak. Now, it seems that Reuben is quitting the show after a year.
It also saw Gideon leaving the show, who was first introduced in the 5th season. The Italian Mafia storyline also reached its climax when Paul kidnapped Finn’s wife, Zara, in a cave, but was later arrested.
Meanwhile, over on Emergency Lane, new character Bethany was presumed dead after a piece of Raw Rabbit fell to the ground. However, it was revealed that Bethany is still alive, but is kidnapped by Darius’s ex-drug friends.
Vincent Allen also died after being stabbed to death by a Turkish immigrant. Now, the hospital is being forced to face the guilt over the surgeon shortage.
Many fans have been rumoring what might happen next about what will happen when ELANG and Emergency Lane returns. Season 8 of ELANG and Season 10 of Emergency Lane will begin later in the autumn.
