In a recent blog post we made, Hector was issued an arrest warrant for the assault of his girlfriend, Rebecca Rooney, back in 2011, but was later dropped.
Today, Hector was given an exclusive interview with The Elimination Podcast, explaining everything he’s done and how he met Rebecca. The two met each other in 2008 at a café in Paris, but Hector was suspicious about her.
Hector claims that Rebecca was working as a prostitute when he saw her someone giving money to her. He later confronted her, but Rebecca denied he was involved in any of it.
In 2011, Hector brutally beaten Rebecca up in a nightclub, nearly killing her. Hector said that beating her up was the right thing, but many still consider him the bad guy. Rebecca initially refused to go to the police to charge Hector until 2024.
Hector then apologized, claiming that he was in the wrong and his behavior was not his best. He also apologized to his fellow contestants, especially Curtis, whom had a rivarly with.
