It was the end of another season for Minecraft Elimination Zone as Eden Gonzalez wins the $20,000,000 grand prize.
Season 5 started in September 2024 with 18 contestants, and since then, it has become the longest-running season in the show’s history, with 13 episodes and running for 3 months.
This season became notable for many things, such as the death of Joshua Balderas, and a criminal investigation against Hector Bennett.
As mentioned from the previous blog post relating to this, this marked the first time in the show’s history where all the finalists are women.
The last episode of The Elimination Podcast season 1 will be looking back at the events that happened in Season 5.
Season 5 later ended with a tribute to Joshua, meanwhile Andrew Norris confirms that Season 6 will begin in Spring 2025.
