G4p TV announced plans of a zombie horror series on G4p TV Minecraft based on its reality show, Minecraft Elimination Zone. The show will be based on the British reality series, Dead Set.
James Tsan, a well-known Minecraftian TV critic, will serve as the creator of the show. In an interview with G4p News, James explained what the show will be about.
The new zombie series i am planning will be called: Game Over. It will be set in a fictional season of Minecraft Elimination Zone. The main setting will be the Merge Village (or whatever they call that), which would later become a shelter for the contestants and the production staff in a zombie apocalypse. It’s a miniseries, so all 5 episodes will be filled with drama, horror, action, and all sorts of humor, you name it.
James, on the new show.
James spoke about what Game Over could’ve been.
When i was watching 24, i realized that i wanted to create a show about Minecraft Elimination Zone becoming a victim of a hostage situation, you know, with people’s lives on the line and some others are dying. However, i realized that the idea was too ridiculous, so i thought, hey, why not we replace them with zombies? Yeah, that would be a really good idea, no arguments! I was watching The Walking Dead years ago, but when i got a Dead Set DVD, i thought this will be the perfect show to make.
James, explaining how the show was born.
Currently, we do not know who the characters will be, and when exactly will it come out. What we do know is that the show could premiere in the spring. More news about this show will arrive when they come.
