The long-running Minecraftian soap opera ended another season with another dramatic cliffhanger. This time, it had more action and drama than how it originally would.
Season 8 focused on the aftermath of the shooting rampage in the Heart Center Hospital, and the rise of an underworld mafia in Swiftbrooke, under the rule of Abeo MacKenzie, who was responsible for Sally Horton’s death.
Other storylines also include Dennis’s death and Carl Cash’s reign of terror until his comeuppance.
In the two-part season finale, Tom was caught in a bomb explosion, with many worrying that he was likely killed. Meanwhile, Linda and Avril suffered a car accident. Linda survived, but Avril was hospitalized.
Jock’s house in Saint Ranch also explodes by one of Carl’s men in revenge for his boss’s death, followed by a shootout.
In the final scenes of the season, the staff was evacuated in a bomb threat. Arthur was left in shock just seconds before the bomb detonates, cutting the screen to black. Fans were left in clues about who survived and who didn’t.
The 9th season premieres on June 4th.
